The aim of the "Open Days in the Countryside" campaign is to promote the Latvian countryside, products and services grown, produced and prepared in the countryside. Within the framework of the campaign, farms will be open to visitors for 2 days, offering discounts on products or services, food and drink tastings, excursions, creative workshops or other special offers that are not available on these farms on a daily basis.

Tips for tourists visiting special farms:

1. Choose the villages you want to visit and plan your route.

2. Inform the selected campaign farms about your visit.
We recommend that you coordinate your visit with the hosts in advance, as it is possible that someone else, for example a large group, has already planned it at the same time as you are planning your visit, so to comfortably enjoy your farm visit - make an appointment!

3. Recommend this promotion to someone. Traveling together is more interesting and fun!

4. Prepare for travel well in advance.
Remember – there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. So pack comfortable clothes and shoes for your trip. And check the weather forecast before you go.
