ZSA seminar on promoting rural/food tourism was held
On January 10, a BASCIL project seminar on the promotion of rural/food tourism and sales efficiency in the digital environment was held at the Saldus KOPtelpa. The seminar emphasized how good it is for local home producers and self-producing entrepreneurs to cooperate - a cooperation network that benefits everyone. The second emphasis was that we live in a new time, in which people's buying, choosing and eating habits are now dictated by completely different habits from those we knew 10 and 5 years ago. Today, people are much more focused on the result than on the process. And - how important it is to skillfully position yourself and your products in the digital environment, creating such an image that the buyer will keep coming back, rather than getting lost in the great chaos of the abundance of offers.
Lecturer: Sandra Zeltiņa, business consultant with 20 years of experience, sales promotion expert, co-author of four textbooks.
The event was organized within the framework of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme project BASCIL “Innovative solutions for food production in rural areas with the aim of diversifying sustainable culinary tourism services”.
