A seminar was held on new technologies for Latvian greenhouses, gardens and fields

This year, on October 4, the association “Farmers' Council” organized a seminar “New Technologies for Latvian Greenhouses, Gardens and Fields” at the exhibition complex “Rāmava”.

In the first part of the seminar, Aigars Miglāns, a member of the board of the company “AM Ozoli”, informed about the latest trends in the covered areas industry and why covered areas are and will become increasingly popular in the world. Then, Tom Zöllner, Secretary General of the “FarmTech Society” association, spoke about hydroponic technologies and what future solutions are for effective gardening. The seminar was concluded by the implementation team: Inga Bērziņa from the association “Zemnieku saeima” and Ainis Lagzdiņš from the Latvian University of Agriculture.
