An additional 0.5 million euros will be allocated to cooperatives to repay loan interest.

The government on Wednesday supported a proposal to increase support for partial repayment of loan interest for agricultural service cooperatives by 500,000 euros.

Support for cooperatives has been increased from 350,000 to 850,000 euros to promote investment in the modernization of the agricultural sector and to successfully utilize the support opportunities offered by the European Union.

The necessary resources were found by redistributing the unutilized funding of 500,000 euros under the support measure "Partial cancellation of loan interest for agricultural product processing merchants".
