At the annual exhibition "Agricultural and Forestry Equipment. Farmstead 2017" in Rāmava
From October 5 to 7, the 26th international exhibition "Agricultural and Forestry Equipment. Countryside 2017" will be held at the Rāmava Exhibition Complex, organized by SIA AML in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia and the exhibition's general sponsor, Citadele Bank.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote regional development by ensuring the exchange of experience and popularizing agriculture and related areas, as well as promoting increasingly efficient farming in the countryside and forests of Latvia.
From October 5 to 7, interested parties and experts from the agricultural, forestry and municipal sectors will meet in Rāmava. The exhibition will be attended by around 10,000 visitors, and around 260 exhibitors will participate, offering industry innovations, the best solutions and offers.
Interested parties will have the opportunity to evaluate not only agricultural machinery, but also industrial machinery, construction materials and materials that improve energy efficiency. In the forest area, participants will offer machinery for forest maintenance and logging.
The exhibition includes an extensive educational program for the exchange of experience - informative seminars and discussions with industry representatives on such topical issues as land reclamation systems, forestry, challenges in vegetable growing and other topics. The educational program is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Rural Support Service, the JSC “Latvijas mediji” portal “laukos.lv”, the Farmers' Council, the Latvian University of Agriculture and representatives of other organizations.
At the exhibition, we invite you to taste and buy rural goods at the farmers' market, learn about sauna wisdom in the Sauna Zone, and empathize with the participants in the woodcutter competition in the Forest Zone.
Citadele Bank and “Citadele Lizing and Factoring” have decided to support the exhibition in Rāmava, as agriculture is an important sector of the Latvian economy. “Last year and this year have been good for farmers to start new projects, they have been able to successfully attract co-financing from the Rural Support Service for the development of their projects, and overall this sector has been able to increase export volumes and is a sign of a long-term stable sector. This year, like last year, Citadele Bank has granted the largest number of loans to farmers,” says Pēteris Plaudis, Head of the Baltic Leasing Services Department at Citadele Bank.
