On April 23, we invite you to a Landscape Tour in the Dviete Floodplain, Sēlija. The Nature Park “Dviete Floodplain” is one of the most scenic and bird-rich places in Latvia! In the spring, several thousand geese and ducks stay here every season. It is also an important nesting site for the grebe. Here you can find rare, little-modified habitats of flooded grasslands, as well as descendants of wild horses or tarpans and ibex, whose babies have returned in the spring.
