On April 25th, we invite you to a field demonstration of incorporating gypsum into soil in Zaņa.

On April 25th at 12:00, we invite you to participate in the event "Field demonstration of gypsum incorporation into soil".

The event will feature the application of gypsum into the soil using tractor equipment, as well as a presentation by Professor Ainis Lagzdiņš of the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technology about the research methodology. Attendees will have the opportunity to view practical experiments and verify the effectiveness of gypsum application, as well as visit the agricultural runoff monitoring water sampling station, where they will be able to ask additional questions and enjoy coffee or tea.

The event was organized within the framework of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Transnational Cooperation Programme project No. #C040 “Reducing Phosphorus Load from Agricultural Land by Improving Soil (GYPREG)”.

In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to another date. Because plaster hardens in wet weather.
