Baltic Slurry Acidification project interim meeting

A meeting of the stakeholders of the Baltic Slurry Acidification project took place in Riga on October 9-12, 2017.
On October 9-10, meetings of the WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6 working groups took place.
On October 11, a seminar provided information about liquid manure acidification, the possibilities of implementing this technology in the Baltic Sea region, and the benefits that this technology provides. The parties involved in the project shared their experience with the use of this technology, and the seminar continued with an opportunity to visit SIA Lauku Agro, where the farm owners presented the liquid manure acidification technology.
On October 12, discussions and implementation of innovations in the WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5 and WP6 working groups took place. A closed steering group meeting was held in the final part of the seminar.
