Baltic Slurry Acidification project partners meeting in Finland

From March 6 to March 8, a meeting of the partners of the project “Baltic Slurry Acidification” was held in Finland (address: Mandatum Life premises, Bulevardi56, Helsinki), which was attended by project experts Inga Bērziņa and Valters Zelčs.
The meeting presented the initial version of the material prepared under Work Package 6 (WP6.2), which summarizes the legislative framework in the project countries related to the use of acidification technologies. We discussed how to compare the experience of each country and agreed that in the second half of the year, proposals for improving the legislation should be prepared and working groups should be organized with the involvement of cooperation partners.
We informed about the planned project activities in Latvia – a field day in April and June, where we will demonstrate the acidification technology and inform about the installation of demonstrations. The meeting decided that the next joint project meeting will be in autumn in Germany, and the final event will be in Finland early next year.
