LV BreedExpo project trip to Georgia
From November 20 to 23, as part of the “BreedExpo” project, we visited the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, together with project partners from Finland and Estonia, where we presented the Latvian cattle industry at the “Agro Food Drink Tech Expo Georgia” exhibition with the aim of offering Georgian farmers the opportunity to purchase breeding cattle. The trip was attended by Juris Cīrulis, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the “Zemnieku saeima” association, Raimonds Jakovickis, livestock expert, and Jānis Kapačs, representative of SIA “Baltic – Calves”. During the trip, thanks to our Georgian cooperation partners “Caucasus Genetics”, we had the opportunity to visit the dairy farm “White Farm”.
