Breedexpo2 hosted a seminar on the importance of genomic testing

On March 22, 2023, a seminar was held at Ogre Technical School as part of the Breedexpo2 project: "The importance of genome determination in beef cattle breeding".

The seminar featured presentations by Kristīne Ādama, who spoke about the selection of meat breed breeding animals based on genomic evaluation, and guest lecturer from France Solange Faurisson, who spoke about genome determination in Limousin breed animals. Jane Mattik shared Estonia's experience in breeding animal selection, while Vilnis Štencelis introduced the attendees to his practical experience in selecting animals based on genomic indicators.
