Electronic reporting on cow and goat milk yield and conformation
On January 5, the government supported the regulations prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture (MA) on the procedure for monitoring dairy cows and dairy goats. The new procedure provides for the introduction of an electronic information entry system using the new version of the monitoring program "CILDA" for monitoring milk and meat.
The purpose of the preparation of the draft regulations is to determine the procedure for monitoring dairy cows and dairy goats. The new regulations provide that in the future the supervisor will be able to create and receive the control data registration document (supervision task) himself in the Agricultural Data Center (LDC) database. After carrying out the supervision work, the supervisor will have the opportunity to report the supervision data in the same way as before in paper form or electronically in the form of a CSV data table.
Until now, the monitoring task could only be received from the LDC in paper form. The control data could also only be sent to the LDC in paper form, as software had not been developed to directly electronically add the relevant data to the database.
In accordance with the monitoring plan, the results of the control data processing and the monitoring task from the LDC can be received by the supervisor or the herd owner. The draft regulations provide that in the future the supervisor, in cooperation with the herd owner, will be able to choose both the method of receiving the monitoring task and the method of recording the monitoring data.
It is planned that the electronic notification system will reduce the circulation of paper documents for data reporting, as well as facilitate the operations of competent authorities.
The new regulations will replace the currently valid Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers) Regulation No. 547 of 5 July 2011 “Procedures for the Supervision of Dairy Cows and Dairy Goats”.
The draft regulations will enter into force after their publication on the official publication "Latvijas Vēstnesis" website www.vestnesis.lv. More information about the draft regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers “Procedure for the supervision of dairy cows and dairy goats” available on the Cabinet of Ministers website.
