Experience exchange trip to Northern Vidzeme

The association "Farmers' Council" invites all interested parties to participate in an experience exchange trip to three agricultural enterprises in Northern Vidzeme and Smiltene Technical School on August 24. The goal of the event is to get to know production practices, exchange experiences, and gain new knowledge and ideas.

Program

10:30-12:30 Very Berry Ltd. Getting to know the company, product tasting. Jaunas Roga, Gaujiena parish, Ape municipality, Gaujiena parish

13:00-15:00 Vocational Education Competence Center Smiltene Technical School. Introduction to Smiltene Technical School. Discussion on current events in agriculture. Lunch. Kalnamuiža, Smiltene parish

15:30-17:00 Grain farms z/s “Jaunstrukas” inspection. Jaunklidzis “Salenieki”, Plani parish, Strenči municipality

17:30-19:00 Introduction to the dairy farm z/s “Old Cakes”. “Chickens”, Jercēni parish, Strenči municipality

The event was organized within the framework of the project "GreenAgri" CB272, which is co-financed by the Central Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 and the association "Farmers' Council".
