Farm visit, exhibition and seminar in Estonia
On the last day of October, as part of the ''BreedExpo'' project, we went to our neighbors in Estonia, where a beef cattle breeder and a dairy farmer shared their stories of experience. First, we visited the Hereford breed farm "Tsura" in Valga County. The farm's herd includes 160 Hereford breed suckler cows, the total number of cattle is 340. On the outskirts of Tartu, we visited the Tartu Agro Rahinge dairy farm. On November 1, we attended the seminar "Latest Trends in Breeding Animal Reproduction", where Dr. Kalle Kask, Head of the Veterinary Medicine Clinic of the University of Estonia, gave a lecture. We visited the exhibition of agricultural and breeding animals at the Estonian National Museum.
