Farmers and foresters will meet at the annual exhibition "Agricultural and Forestry Equipment. Farmstead 2019" in Rāmava

From October 3 to 5, the 28th international exhibition "Agricultural and Forestry Equipment. Countryside 2019" will be held at the Rāmava Exhibition Complex. The exhibition is organized by SIA AML in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia and the exhibition's general sponsor, Citadele Bank.

 

Exhibition opening: October 3 at 11:00, the exhibition will be opened by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia, Kaspars Gerhards.

 

Every autumn, professionals and interested parties in the fields of agriculture, forestry, environmental development and improvement meet In Ramato evaluate new techniques and technologies. The three-day exhibition will provide an opportunity to meet more than 250 exhibitors - industry experts, who will share their knowledge and experience, introduce industry news and current events, and find the most suitable solution for the needs of a company or farm.

 

More than 40 new participants representing various industries will participate in the exhibition. Every year, the exhibition “Agricultural and Forestry Equipment. Countryside” increasingly focuses on forestry, transport, industrial and municipal machinery. Participants will offer both forest machinery and equipment (for logging, care or removal of overgrowth), as well as extensive maintenance and customization options for specific transport and machinery units.

 

The exhibition includes an extensive educational program for the exchange of experience, including topics in forestry and the use of plant protection products (Thursday), current issues in support and energy efficiency promotion (Friday), opportunities for increasing productivity in livestock farming (Saturday), as well as other current topics.

 

Support for the exhibition “Agricultural and Forestry Equipment” has already become a tradition for Citadele Bank. “This is one of the steps the bank takes to implement its strategic goal – to further promote the development of the national economy and help businesses flourish both in Latvia and the Baltics,” says Pēteris Plaudis, a Citadele representative. Also this year, at the exhibition, Citadele will introduce visitors to various support options that the bank offers to agricultural companies, including leasing and loans for financing equipment and production development. All interested parties are invited to visit the Citadele stand, taste delicious coffee and learn about the most advantageous offers for their company.

 

During the event, interested parties are also invited to view an apple and vegetable exhibition, sympathize with the participants in the woodcutter and forest machine operator competitions, as well as purchase rural goods at the home-grown produce market.
