Farmers' experience exchange trip to Northern Vidzeme

The association "Farmers' Council" invites all interested parties to participate in an experience exchange trip to three agricultural enterprises in Northern Vidzeme and Smiltene Technical School on August 24. The goal of the event is to get to know production practices, exchange experiences, and gain new knowledge and ideas.

10:30-12:30 Very Berry Ltd. Getting to know the company, product tasting. Jaunas Roga, Gaujiena parish, Ape municipality, Gaujiena parish

13:00-15:00 Vocational Education Competence Center Smiltene Technical School. Introduction to Smiltene Technical School. Discussion on current events in agriculture. Lunch. Kalnamuiža, Smiltene parish

15:30-17:00 Grain farms Z/s “Jaunstrukas” inspection. Jaunklidzis “Salenieki”, Plani parish, Strenči municipality

17:30-19:00 Introduction to dairy farming Z/s “Veckukuri” farm. “Chickens”, Jercēni parish, Strenči municipality
