Field Day “Managing cows of different sizes (quantities) on one farm”

LLKC in cooperation with the dairy farm z/s “Lejas Zosēni”, the Farmers' Council and AREI invite you to attend a demonstration field day on the management of cows of different sizes in one dairy herd on a dairy farm. Field day will take place on April 6 in two parts from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. AGENDA OF WORK

Starts at the Tirza Culture House, address: Association House 1, Tirza, Tirza parish, Gulbene municipality; later the event will continue at the “Lejas Zosēni” farmstead, “Jaunaizpurves” cowshed, Tirza parish, Gulbene municipality.

The field day will provide an opportunity to learn about the relationship between the size and live weight of dairy cows and milk productivity in the early lactation phase. Farm owners will share their experience in farm management, and the results obtained during the demonstration will be presented.
