Country Day on the impact of the age of first calving in dairy cows on reproduction

LLKC in cooperation with the dairy farm SIA “Vienotnes”, the Farmers' Council and AREI invites you to attend a demonstration field day on the impact of the age of first calving of dairy cows on reproduction in a dairy farm. The field day will take place on October 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Start in Rozula, at the Rozula Club, later at the dairy cow barn “Mazbebri” in Stalbe parish, Pārgauja region. During the field day, you will have the opportunity to learn about the most important factors in breeding calf breeding, as well as the possibilities of using reproduction indicators in herd planning. You will be able to listen to recommendations when starting to prepare corn silage. The farm manager, Normunds Ruķis, will introduce the farm and its further development strategy.
