1) The changes define what constitutes a fertilizer for industrial agriculture, and actions to be taken in cases of non-compliance and violations.

2) The control body will have the opportunity to cancel the certificate if the entrepreneur does not carry out activities in the field of organic farming within one calendar year.

3) A public catering establishment certified as an organic farming establishment is not permitted to use genetically modified organisms.

4) The changes provide for the delegation of the right to issue permits to control authorities when carrying out certification in third countries.

5) The deadlines for issuing certain permits are also clarified to make it easier for organic farmers to obtain permits.
