Insure your crops on time!

Climate change also affects Latvia, so we urge you to insure your crops in a timely manner. “VH Latvija” is an agency in Latvia established by the German crop insurance cooperative VEREINIGTE HAGEL and LKPS “LATRAPS”, which has been successfully operating in our country for the third year. The cooperative’s operations are based on the principle of mutual insurance, when policyholders are also insurance providers at the same time.

The farm itself evaluates which product is most suitable for the crops it grows. It is possible to insure the expected harvest by choosing the products Secufarm®LV1 and Secufarm®LV3 until May 31st.
The payment for 1 ha depends on the following factors:

  • insured crop;
  • planned harvest revenue from 1ha;
  • the selected product type.
