Tomorrow at 2:00 PM, the first stop of our "protest tractor" will be in Valmiera!
We ask Vidzeme members to take an active part in it!
The event will last approximately one hour, during which we will jointly express our opinions on unequal direct payments.
We ask that you bring prepared messages to Brussels (notebooks and paper will be available at the event if anyone has not had time to prepare their message at home), which we will place in the "gift" bags in the tractor trailer.
You can also prepare some angry posters about the unfair EU agricultural policy (some samples are available on the website).
The day after tomorrow, November 15, the tractor will reach Riga and at 2:00 p.m. there will be an event for farmers and their supporters at Doma Square!
The events will feature speeches from farmers, leaders of farmer organizations, and the Minister of Agriculture. We have also invited members of the Saeima and the Prime Minister to the Riga event!
Please find an opportunity to participate in the events, as the government is starting to "waver" a bit between agricultural payments and Cohesion!
We can do a lot and have done so by meeting with various officials in Brussels, as well as talking to our statesmen, but now each of you has a job to do!
Only by putting all activities together can we achieve the goal we have set!
