January 13th seminar “Current events in the agricultural and environmental sectors”

On January 13, 2017, a seminar “Current affairs in the agricultural and environmental sectors” organized by the Farmers' Council took place at the Jēkabpils LLKC consultation office.
ZSA livestock expert Raimonds Jakovickis presented the GreenAgri project activities, and ZSA agricultural policy expert Māriņš Trons introduced current developments in agricultural and environmental legislation. ZSA Deputy Chair Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmstre spoke about legislative requirements in Europe. ZSA environmental expert Iveta Grudovska, in turn, presented the results of GreenAgri demonstrations and the development of fertilization plans. After the seminar summary, a discussion took place about the above-mentioned and other activities in the agricultural and environmental sectors.
