July 15 – Field Day “Use and Efficiency of Various Soil Liming Materials”

LLKC, in cooperation with the agricultural cooperative "Celiņi", the Latvian Farmers' Federation and the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics, invites you to attend a field day on July 15th "Use and effectiveness of various soil liming materials".

AGENDA OF WORK

Time and place of the event: 15.07.2022 at 11.00 am at the Asūne Community Center, Skolas Street 19, Asūne, Asūne Parish, Krāslava Municipality (GPS 56.02611 N 27.62139 E) and the “Celiņi” holiday home, Asūne Parish, Krāslava Municipality.

During the field day, there will be an opportunity to learn about the importance of liming, materials, selection criteria, practical experience in the application of liming materials in cereal and legume crops, as well as the results obtained in the demonstration “Effectiveness of various liming materials in field crop crops”. In the second part of the field day, there will be an opportunity to learn more about the experience of the “Celiņi” agricultural company in cereal cultivation and to visit the farm fields.
