July 20 – field day at the dairy farm SIA “Lestene”

LLKC, in collaboration with the dairy farm SIA “Lestene”, the Farmers' Assembly and the Latvian Agricultural University, invites you to attend a demonstration field day on the treatment and prevention of ketosis on July 20, using various treatment methods.

The field day will take place: at the Lestene Community Center and later at the dairy complex “Pienenes” of SIA “Lestene”, in Lestene parish, Tukums region. Registration starts at 9.30.

AGENDA OF WORK

During the field day, there will be an opportunity to learn about the goals and progress of the demonstration, the relevance of ketosis in dairy herds, diagnostic and control options. The chairman of the farm board, Egils Seņkāns, will share his experience.
