LV Latvian farmers' experience exchange trip to Estonia
The Farmers' Council organized another experience exchange trip within the framework of the GreenAgri CB272 project, where we visited various dairy farms. On the last day of the trip, we participated in a field day, where organic manure spreading technologies were demonstrated.
In the program:
On Wednesday, September 27, we visited the Hummuli Agro dairy farm. The day continued with an excursion to the wonderful Sagaste Castle and a tour of the Tiri-Jakobi beef cattle farm, ending the day at the Voru Kubija hotel.
On Thursday, September 28, Andri-Peedo, we visited Europe's largest goat farm and took a tour of the goat milk processing plant, product tasting. Then we went to the Nopri and Pōlva Agro dairy farms and stayed at the Pesa hotel in Pōlva. On Friday, September 29, we participated in the Field Day, where organic fertilizer spreading technologies were demonstrated.
