Latvian partners meeting 15.12.2017

On December 15, 2017, the first meeting of the Latvian partners of the project “Advanced manure standards for sustainable nutrient management and reduced emissions /MANURE STANDARDS” INTERREG Baltic Sea Region European Structural and Investment Funds Objective “European Territorial Cooperation” Programme 2014-2020 took place in Riga.
Agenda:

1. On the selection of farm animal species and groups, as well as manure types for manure sampling planned within the project

The project partners agreed on 15 types of manure, see appendix. The issue of bird droppings remains open, which will be agreed upon by the end of this year.

2. About choosing agricultural sheds

The project partners agreed that the Farmers' Saeima will ensure the selection of housing for farm animals.

3. About the project launch meeting in Latvia
