Laureates of the Ministry of Agriculture's "Sower 2020" competition awarded
On Wednesday, October 7, at the National Library of Latvia in Riga, Minister of Agriculture Kaspars Gerhards and President of the Republic Egils Levits congratulated the laureates of the Ministry of Agriculture's "Sower 2020" competition - farmers, including young farmers, food producers, and small farmers.
This year, the winners of the "Sower" competition were congratulated and awards were given in eight competition nominations, as well as the award "For Lifetime Contribution to Agriculture".

This year, the “Sower” competition was held for the 27th time, with 45 participants. The winners of the competition received the “Sower” Award of the Year (bronze statue), a diploma and a cash prize.
The presentation of the awards of the “Sower” competition has become one of the most important events for farmers, and the title of the laureate “Sower” – a sign of exemplary work. More information about the competition is available on the website www.sejejs.lv.
