LIVERUR project – Living laboratories Living Lab research concept in rural areas

The aim of the LIVERUR project:

Expand the most promising and innovative business model in rural areas living lab or living laboratory. LIVERUR projekts īpašu uzmanību pievērš for living laboratories, as they contribute to more sustainable resource mobilization, improved cooperation between all actors throughout the cooperation process and lead to new services. Living laboratories uses the concept of open innovation in a broader sense – with successes and failures determined by empirically based research and its conclusions. As empirically based research is still lacking, LIVERUR’s short-term goal is to improve knowledge about emerging business models in rural areas, including understanding their potential. The long-term goal of the project is to increase the economic diversification potential of rural areas.
