March 17th seminar on soybean and fodder barley cultivation

On March 17, the Stende Research Center of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics will host a seminar "Cultivation of soybeans and fodder barley - will we be able to adapt to changing conditions?".

The seminar will discuss AREI 2020 spring news, soybeans in Latvia (facts and observations obtained during two years of research in Latvia) and fodder barley (varieties, technologies, quality in changing weather conditions).

In turn, experts will provide their assessment of soy farming, the competitiveness of purposefully grown fodder barley, protein crops grown in Latvia, and other crop products at the processing plant.

The seminar will take place at the Stende Research Center of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics, Dižstende, Talsi region. Registration of participants will start at 9:30.
