Meeting of Latvian and Lithuanian partners of the NENUPHAR project in Šiauliai
We started the year in the project productively, together with colleagues from the Latvian University of Biosciences and Technology (LBTU) and the Latvian Association of Water Supply and Sewerage Enterprises (LŪKA), we went to Šiauliai, Lithuania, to meet with Lithuanian Project partners from Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) and the National Regional Development Agency (NRDA).
The project, together with Lithuanian partners, plans to develop a detailed methodology for composting sewage sludge and incorporating it into agricultural land, conducting demonstrations on several farms in the Lielupe River basin.
