Partners: 16 partners from 10 countries: Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, France, Denmark, United Kingdom, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy and Latvia.

Purpose: The overall goal of the project is to explain to the public the importance of soil health.

Activities:

-Determination of basic requirements for soil improvement;

-Research and analysis of business models for promoting soil health;

-Trying out practical solutions;

-Legislation and recommendations;

-Results dissemination strategy.

Expected result various soil health promoting business activities – good practice examples from Europe and other countries have been compiled. The study will take into account: a) sustainable soil management in different land uses and climatic conditions; b) products based on soil health promoting practices; c) consumption and certification practices; d) land reuse and e) sustainable soil management in the context of the EU taxonomy regulation. The business models will analyse the current successful experience of ensuring soil health in Europe and outside Europe in order to categorise them, taking into account their variability. The Farmers' Council will compile good practice examples for soil improvement in this project, exchange experiences and organise educational events – seminars.
