There are several changes in this round of support measures. For example, in order to promote investment in climate change mitigation measures, the changes provide for granting additional support intensity for the construction and reconstruction of manure storage facilities, as well as for the construction or reconstruction of forced ventilation systems in livestock housing. The conditions for project selection criteria points have been clarified. They will be awarded for investments in climate change mitigation measures. However, in the future, project selection criteria points will not be awarded to young farmers. Young farmers will retain the opportunity to receive additional support intensity for investments made. The maximum support intensity has been further clarified and will not exceed 70%. The new conditions also provide that if during this planning period (RDP 2014-2020) the applicant has already purchased a tractor or grain combine or has undertaken a commitment to purchase them, then the purchase of such equipment will not be supported a second time.
