Nutrinflow project partners meeting and Ailes stream visit 28-29.08.2018

We looked at the newly constructed environmental elements in the Ailes stream (Nutrinflow project)
On August 28 and 29, 2018, a meeting of the partners of the Nutrinflow project was held, which was attended by representatives of the ZSA, Latvian and foreign partners of the project, as well as specialists from the ZMNĪ and the Ministry of Agriculture. The main task of the event was to get acquainted with the environmental elements built in the Aile stream (wetland, two-stage ditch, stone piles), as well as to discuss further monitoring activities of their effectiveness. The Farmers' Council plans to organize an event this fall, where the structures will be introduced to all interested parties. Guests were also able to get acquainted with the Vilciņi-1 farm and see the purchased sprayer washing water treatment plant (Beutech). The efficiency of the plant's operation will be further evaluated within the framework of the project.
The project team has also created a video about agriculture and the environmental elements of land reclamation systems. The film will be available on ZSA information channels in the near future.
