LV On October 9th, we invite you to a field day at the dairy farm SIA “Vecsiljāņi”
LLKC, in collaboration with the dairy farm SIA “Vecsiljāņi”, the Farmers' Council and the Latvian Dairy Farmers' Union, invites you to attend a demonstration field day in dairy farming on the use of genomic tests to promote genetic progress in the dairy herd.
The field day will take place on October 9th in two parts: from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Home in the Vecbebri Technical School complex of Bebri parish, Aizkraukle municipality, continued – SIA “Vecsiljāņi” at the “Dimanti” cowshed in Bebri parish, Aizkraukle municipality.
The field day will provide an opportunity to learn about the interim results of the demonstration, analysis of genomic tests, as well as the epigenetics of dairy heifers, or the importance of metabolic programming in the development of dairy herds.
The event will be attended by farm owners, livestock industry leaders. Livestock practitioners and experts will share their work experience.
