On September 16th, we invite you to a field day at a dairy farm

LLKC in cooperation with z/s “Brūveri”, SIA “IRGK Serviss”, Farmers' Union and LBTU invites you to attend a demonstration field day in dairy farming on the implementation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction measures in conventional and organic dairy farming. The field day will take place September 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Vecvārkava Manor in Upmalas Parish, Preiļi County and at the cattle shed of SIA “IRGK Serviss” in Upmalas Parish, Preiļi County.

AGENDA OF WORK

During the field day, there will be an opportunity to learn about the goals and objectives of the demonstration, the most current information on GHG emissions in dairy cow barns, as well as the impact of dairy cow feeding on limiting GHG emissions.
