Quality applications in VET and adult education
A qualitatively prepared project application is a very important prerequisite for the successful implementation of the project and the sustainable use of its results.
Examples of good practice, face-to-face collaboration, exchange of experience between international participants, collaborative contacts, solving common problems – methods that have proven themselves for individual professional development as well as ensuring effective results in the preparation of project applications.
Erasmus+ Transnational Events (TCA) offer the opportunity to meet international partners and work together on the preparation of a project application for the Erasmus+ programme (http://viaa.gov.lv/lat/ek_izgl_programmas_iniciativas/erasmusplus/erasmus_plus_kontaktsem/).
ZSA project manager Inga Bērziņa participated in the seminar “Qualitative applications in VET and adult education” in Cyprus, organized by the “FOUNDATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF EUROPEAN LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMMES, Cyprus” 08.11.2017.-10.11.2017.
The TCA seminar increased professional qualifications in preparing quality applications in line with the new labor market needs in the education of students and adults/internship leaders to implement Erasmus+ The objectives of the strategic partnerships of the programme are to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives to support cooperation, peer learning and exchange of experience at the European level.
As a result of the attended TCA event, the development of professional project development competencies of project managers (both pedagogical and professional) was promoted, promoting the relevance of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to the current international situation in the development of project applications for Erasmus KA2 strategic partnerships.
Impact on the organization:
1) capacity in organizations to prepare project applications with methodological knowledge, skills and competencies, at a high methodological level in accordance with international innovative practices, has been ensured.
1) increased capacity of the organization to participate in international projects, administer, implement and ensure their sustainability.
2) improved cooperation between different target groups, both in compiling and determining the content of rural (agricultural) entrepreneurship education;
3) a more dynamic, professional environment within the organization: ready to introduce examples of good practice, new technologies and methods into the organization's daily activities, open to synergy with organizations, and socially active in the social, educational and employment fields, able to strategically plan professional development for the sector in relation to the needs of vocational schools and students.
