During the meeting, representatives of the ZSA and SRS Director General I. Jaunzeme discussed future cooperation opportunities to promote the business development of honest taxpayers – farmers, as well as to promote a fair competition environment.
We also discussed the results of reducing the VAT rate for fruits and vegetables typical of Latvia, as well as talking about registering seasonal workers so that employers can hire seasonal workers as easily as possible and reduce the "gray economy" in agricultural sectors.
During the meeting, the association "Farmers' Council" will be represented by the Chairman of the Board Juris Lazdiņš and the Deputy Chairman of the Board Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmistre.
