Seminar “Good practice examples in organic fertilizer management”

The association "Farmers' Council" invites all interested parties to participate in an experience exchange trip to three agricultural enterprises in Sēlija on May 25. The goal of the event is to get to know production practices, exchange experiences, and gain new knowledge and ideas.

PROGRAM

09:30-10:00 Arrival (coffee, snacks), SIA “Liellopu izsoļu nams”, Mazzalve parish, Nereta municipality

10:00-11:30 Introduction to the operation of the cattle auction house, viewing of beef cattle, host Kaspars Ādams

12:15-13:30 Visit to the grain farm “Ģēģeri” in Nereta parish, Nereta region, owner Juris Pundurs

13:45-14:15 Lunch in Nereta, at the cafe “Falko 2”

14:15-15:15 Seminar – discussion on current issues in agriculture, at the café “Falko 2” (upcoming changes to the RDP, changes in coupled support payments)

16:00-17:00 Visit to the dairy farm “Kalna Dambrāni”, Viesīte parish, Viesīte municipality, owner Iveta Tīrumniece.
