LV Seminar: Opportunities for farm diversification in a circular economy
On February 6 and 7, 2019, Zanda Melnalksne participated in the EIP-AGRI seminar: Opportunities for farm diversification in a circular economy. Experts from all EU countries gathered together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the bioeconomy sector for farmers. It was also analyzed which business models would be most suitable for the development of various bioeconomy sectors in relation to agriculture. In the working groups, experts analyzed the innovations that are necessary to develop the specified business models and sectors. The developed information will be used by the EC to develop a common bioeconomy and innovation strategy.
