Seminar – Application of innovative technologies for soil improvement

On October 30, 2017, ZSA organized a seminar on the application of innovative technologies for soil improvement as part of the Baltic Slurry Acidification project.
In the first part of the seminar, the representative of the Farmers' Council, Zanda Melnalksne, presented the project activities. Gatis Bērziņš, SIA "Precision Farming" informed about precision agriculture and soil acidification. Jānis Kažotnieks, LLKC, presented manure acidification technologies. In turn, a cooperation partner from the Czech Republic informed about EU-funded projects supporting precision agriculture, such as DataBio, FATIMA, TACR ALFA, TACR ZETA.
