Seminar on thermal energy production and management in covered areas

On February 25, the association “Farmers' Council” and the Latvian Rural Consulting and Education Center, in cooperation with the partners of the project “Research on effective heat generation and supply solutions in covered areas”, invite you to a seminar “Heat energy production in covered areas”.

At the seminar, Ādolfs Ruciņš, scientific director of the Latvian University of Agriculture (LLU), will introduce the attendees to the use of active and passive heat energy systems in covered areas, while Ivars Auce, a representative of the Institute of Advanced Technologies, will present active heat accumulation systems.

 

In the second part of the seminar, the project manager Aivars Jermušs (leading researcher at the Institute of Chemical Physics of the University of Latvia) will provide a report on the project's activities, while Agris Auce, leading researcher at the Institute of Chemical Physics of the University of Latvia, will inform about the obtained intermediate results. Seminar participants will also have the opportunity to see the experimental sites and sanitary procedures in the greenhouses of SIA “Rītausma”.

 

The seminar will take place at the Sala Culture House, Skolas Street 2, Sala, Sala Parish. Starts at 11:00, arrival and registration from 10:30.
