Re-registration of share capital in EURO

The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia reminds that capital companies must re-register their share capital in the Register of Enterprises from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2016.

Re-registration of the share capital does not occur automatically, as only the merchant is entitled to amend its internal documents and the participants themselves control the proportionality of participation in the share capital. The detailed procedure for re-registration of the share capital is set out in the Law on the Procedure for the Introduction of the Euro and the amendments to the Commercial Law.

We would like to remind you that due to the anti-raider amendments to the Commercial Law, limited liability companies must submit the current section of the register of members of the limited liability company to the Enterprise Register by June 30, 2015. We encourage you to perform these actions simultaneously!
