SIA "Eko Reverss" will collect agrofilms, polypropylene bags and plastic cans

The company for sorting and processing secondary raw materials SIA "Eko Reverss" will continue the tradition started in previous years this year and will collect agricultural films, polypropylene bags ("Big Bags") and plastic cans from farms throughout Latvia free of charge, in return for issuing a certificate of packaging recycling.

In order for the company SIA "Eko Reverss" to be able to provide free collection of materials, Farms are invited to call by phone +371 26183666, or write an e-mail to kristaps.riba@ekoreverss.lvAfter handing over the materials, farms will receive a certificate of packaging recycling, which will serve as confirmation to the State Environmental Service that the packaging was not burned or buried in the ground, but was managed in accordance with environmental protection and waste management requirements.

The material collected and then sorted by SIA “Eko Reverss” from farms is taken for processing to the polymer materials processing company SIA “Nordic Plast” of the “Eco Baltia Group” in Olaine. High-quality PP granules are obtained from polypropylene bags, but by processing hard plastic (cans and bottles), HDPE extrusion granules are obtained. Various industrial products are then produced from the granules – pipes, industrial packaging, waste containers, tanks, films, waste bags, etc. Almost all of the products manufactured by SIA “Nordic Plast” are exported, mainly to the countries of the European Union.

SIA “Eko Reverss” was founded on March 23, 2001 and is engaged in the collection, processing and sale of secondary raw materials. SIA "Eko Reverss" cooperates in the sale and processing of secondary raw materials not only with companies in the Baltics and Europe, but also all over the world, providing high-quality raw materials for processing. The company's products are exported to seven countries. Developing and expanding the company's operations, SIA "Eko Reverss" will move to a new modern production facility this spring, which will allow for increased sorting capabilities and production capacity for secondary raw materials.
