Step by step: how to report flood-affected fields?
Based on the state of emergency declared by the Cabinet of Ministers on August 29, 2017 in the agricultural sector, the RSS is accepting information from farmers about flood damage.
To apply for a survey of crops destroyed in rural floods, a farmer must:
- a completed form must be submitted “Information on flood damage”
- if the volumes declared in the Single Submission in 2017 have died, a completed Annex 1 must be submitted “Sowed areas declared in the 2017 Single Application that were destroyed in the floods”
- if winter crops sown in 2017 for the 2018 harvest have died, a completed Appendix 2 must be submitted “Floods destroyed winter crop areas sown in 2017 for the 2018 harvest”
- Field block maps printed from EPS, showing areas of destroyed crops marked by hand (Instructions on how to print)
Flood-damaged sown areas containing the following crops can be submitted for inspection: List of crops to be submitted for survey of sown areas destroyed in floods.
