Support for economic activities not related to education/training

The Rural Support Service announces the acceptance of project applications under the “Rural Farm and Entrepreneurship Development” sub-measure “Support for investments in the creation and development of non-agricultural activities” for the three activities of the second round:

-“Development of non-agricultural activities”,

-“Diversification of non-agricultural economic activities”,

-“Promotion of tourism activities”.

The acceptance of project applications for the activities will take place from August 1 to August 31, 2017. The aim of the measure is to promote non-agricultural economic activity and employment in rural areas, enabling the implementation of various non-agricultural, as well as tourism activities, thus increasing the income level in rural regions.

The available public funding for the activities “Development of non-agricultural activities” and “Diversification of non-agricultural economic activities” is ten million euros; for the activity “Promotion of tourism activities” it is also ten million euros. The available funding for all activities is distributed according to the principle of regionalization.

The measures are implemented within the framework of the European Union's European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Rural Development Programme.
