AREA PAYMENT applications must be submitted by May 15th.

The Rural Support Service continues to accept Area Payment applications both in the Electronic Application System (EPS) and in paper format. By May 1, 2014, the RSS had received a total of 12,800 applications; 5,040 of them were submitted in the EPS, and 7,760 in paper format.

.

We remind you that for those farmers who submitted applications to the EPS by May 1, this year, advances of two payments – transitional state support (decoupled PPVA for areas (APL) and decoupled PPVA for arable crop areas (ALA)) – will be paid out earlier than in other years. Usually, payments are made in July, but this year – in May by June 1. For those farmers who continue to submit applications to the EPS now, advances will be paid out as quickly and efficiently as possible.

.

Advance payments will begin in June for those farmers who submitted their applications in paper format by May 1 or who submit them in paper format after May 1.

.

REMEMBER: A completed Area Payment Application for 2014 (including attachments to the application, if there are active agri-environmental measures obligations) and rural block maps with precisely marked areas must be submitted to the RSS by May 15, 2014. Documents will also be accepted until June 9 (inclusive), but with a reduction in the amount of 1% support for each missed working day after May 15, but we do not recommend this practice!
