The closing seminar of the Horizon Programme project LIVERUR was held in Zeltleyas, Platone parish
On October 19, the closing seminar of the Horizon Programme project LIVERUR took place in Zeltlejās, Platone parish. The aim of the event was to introduce the attendees to the progress of the project implementation, project activities, developed and tested business development-promoting models, as well as to provide information about the online training opportunities developed in the project: The Regional Circular Living Lab Business Model (RAIN) platform is a business-oriented practical information and communication technology tool developed based on the research and innovation results of the LIVERUR project.
The main goal of the RAIN platform is to provide reliable resources for the development and improvement of rural entrepreneurship by implementing circular economy solutions for product and service supply chains. The event also provided an insight into the project's activities in Latvia, which were implemented in cooperation with various partners to ensure the development of the horticultural sector.
The seminar participants were also interested in current events in the New Agricultural Policy and opportunities to introduce innovations to their farms. In the end, the hosts of the event presented their sea buckthorn garden, innovative products, and current challenges.
