The Farmers' Assembly calls on you to make a choice and participate in the European Parliament elections!

This Saturday, May 25, the European Parliament elections will be held throughout Latvia.when the people of Latvia will decide on the 8 members of parliament who will represent the interests of the people of Latvia in the European Union for the next five years. The association “Farmers' Parliament” is pleased with the debates organized in early May with the leaders of the candidates for members of the European Parliament on the future Agricultural Policy and invites you to watch the recording of the debate, make a choice and go to the polling stations!

Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmistre, Deputy Chairwoman of the Association “Farmers’ Council”: "The European Parliament elections in Latvia will take place in a few days, and we hope that the discussion we have organized will help farmers and rural residents make their choices on election day. We hope that this debate has also served as a file that future MEPs will put in their suitcases for Brussels, so that if necessary, they can stand up for the interests of Latvian farmers without hesitation."

Thank you to the candidates for the European Parliament for participating in the discussion! We look forward to equally productive cooperation with those members who will represent Latvia in Europe for the next five years! We invite all citizens to carefully evaluate the parties and candidates, and to actively participate in the elections on Saturday!
