The Farmers' Council invites farmers to an informative seminar in Alojā
On February 28, the association “Farmers' Council” organizes and invites all farmers to attend the seminar: “Current Issues and Future Challenges in Agriculture”. The seminar will take place At the Aloja County Business Support Center – SALA library, Ungurpils. Starts at 11:00.
At the seminar, members of the board of the association “Zemnieku saeima” Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmistre, Mareks Bērziņš, as well as the agricultural policy expert of the Zemnieku saeima Mārtiņš Trons will inform about the challenges of the near future for Latvian farmers, the work done and to be done by the organization, domestic policy issues, as well as European policy regarding agriculture. In the continuation of the seminar, Tatjana Saričeva, senior inspector of the Vidzeme regional department of the State Plant Protection Service, will inform about plant protection and the use of fertilizers, while the seminar will be concluded by Ingrīda Meldere, deputy head of the Vidzeme regional department of the State Plant Protection Service, with a presentation: Seed certification, seed circulation control.
Seminar duration: 3 hours.
