July 8th – Field Day on Growing Cereals in Organic Agriculture

LLKC, in cooperation with the organic farm "Vidus Stukules", the Latvian Organic Farming Association and the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics, invites you to attend the field day "Cereal cultivation in organic farming".

Time and place of the event: 08.07.2022. at 11.00 a.m. guest house “Linkas dīķi”, Liezēre parish, Madona municipality (GPS: lat, lon: 56.979930, 26.158875) and z/s “Vidus Stukules”.

During the field day, you will be able to learn about the purpose and progress of the demonstration “The impact of crop rotation on the development of diseases and pests in cereal crops”, AREI leading researcher Līvija Zariņa will share her experience on problems and solutions in organic cereal cultivation. There will be an opportunity to learn about what she saw during an experience exchange trip to organic cereal growers in Sweden.
